inlalaland This is the first album I have from this artist and it certainly will not be the last. This is a true horror soundtrack gem! I can truly feel the cold arctic expanse and the freezing cold winds burning my skin. I love the indie horror scene and this soundtrack is absolutely at the top of its game. EPIC! Favorite track: Y'ha-nthlei.

xenomoth Absolutely beside myself to discover a full soundtrack of FFB work! Deep dark sounds move through the wintery tundra of the Arctic, each creating a real world sense of fear and torment.
It's amazing considering the horror subject matter that this album manages to be so moving and at times deeply beautiful. Favorite track: Charles & Carmen Escape.

tastethecolor Bleak but beautiful, and coupled with the dark romance that only Duncan Ritchie (Flowers for Bodysnatchers) can do this soundtrack is sublime. Effortlessly creepy and atmospheric as hell. I love the incorporation of field recordings in this score. Considering it's something of a taboo in scoring films, here he's been let loose to create something magnificent! Favorite track: The Obelisk.

On a rescue mission to the North Pole to retrieve an old friend and his lost expedition crew, Captain Mortimer gets more than he bargained for when his ship is frozen into the ice sheet and set upon by bloodthirsty creatures. Mortimer and his surviving crew flee the ship, beginning a treacherous journey to find safety in a frozen desolate wilderness. Suffering from starvation, frostbite and a slow madness, they find shelter inside a snowy mountain, but are they as safe as they think, or have they entered the heart of the creatures lair?
