What a masterful conclusion to the Alive With Scars trilogy! These songs are so cinematic that they belong on the soundtrack to your worst nightmares! It’s been a great year for Flowers for Bodysnatchers and Duncan Ritchie gets better and better with each release!

A moving and poignant conclusion to a trilogy of releases dealing with living with a terminal illness. This album overflows with melancholy and sorrow. The piano arrangements are both wonderfully original and familiar at the same time. Coupled with the pained string arrangement in A Knife Now Blackened and the electro-industrial Lhermitte's Sign this is the perfect conclusion to one of the most honest series of releases you will ever listen to.

Flowers for Bodysnatchers has always been the most beautifully depressing music to listen to. Although the subject matter is grim and bleak, it's a place you happily journey to. You'll be hard pressed to find an artist who can balance dark ambience with neoclassicism and industrial noise quite like this. If you like this check out his work on Cryo Chamber Label.

An album of sublime and beautiful brutality. It's as if each pained note holds a life of restrained violence. There's something very dark simmering beneath this album and, without it we wouldn't have the absolute beauty that glides effortlessly across the surface.
